Welcome to ACG Therapy Center

For over 15 years, our highly skilled team of speech and occupational therapists at ACG Therapy Center has provided fun and results-focused therapy. Through our interdisciplinary system of care, we provide a full complement of therapies, including:

  • Speech, Language, and Feeding Therapy

Communication and feeding are both vital components of everyday life. Disruption in these areas can lead to devastating effects. Our speech-language therapists are skilled in treating children with breakdowns in speech, language, and feeding. We will help your child reach his/her full potential!

  • Read to Succeed Reading Program

    Read to Succeed Reading Program:

We believe that the ability to read and comprehend represents a critical skill set for children, as they transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." While more skilled classmates are amassing knowledge and learning new words from context, poor readers begin to avoid reading out of frustration. Classes in science, social studies and even math rely more and more on textual analysis, so that struggling readers begin to fall behind in every subject. Read to Succeed, designed by expert clinicians, is designed to address a full scope of needs- from enhancing reading skills, making learning easier and allowing children to reach a higher skill level, to addressing challenges of children with diagnosis of autism, ADHD, dyslexia. Children undergo extensive individual evaluations, and are then matched in groups of 2-3, based on their strengths and weaknesses. Approaches are then selected to target the core deficits, tailoring sessions to the needs of each child. Different from other programs, we are not tied to one specific methodology, and thus can tap into several well-known evidence based methodologies. Reading is universal. Every child struggles differently. Let us help.

  • Occupational Therapy

Active participation in daily life activity is the primary concern of the occupational therapist. They focus on developing fine motor skills through fun and functional activities.

  • Social Skills Training

Some children and teenagers have difficulties building and sustaining friendships, or mastering social interactions that others take for granted. We are one of few certified centers offering evidence based social skills training.

As the only private center in Gainesville offering this unique interdisciplinary approach, we have created a warm, fun environment where children thrive. Your child will have one-on-one therapy sessions with their own personal therapist, who is selected based on your child’s specific needs.

It is our mission to provide the highest quality of care, provided by the most knowledgeable pediatric therapists, in a nurturing environment. This is our approach:

We create an environment that makes your child look forward to their visit, like they are going to a play date with a good friend. Our private treatment rooms are full with fun toys and activities designed to keep them excited and engaged throughout the sessions. We find that when therapy is enjoyable, progress is quicker.

We only recruit and keep therapists that are not only trained in the most effective techniques, but also genuinely enjoy children and are dedicated to their success. They go out of their way to create special celebrations, costumes, and imaginative games to make therapy fun. Our adult clinic similarly focuses on personalized sessions that patients enjoy.

We put your child's best interest above everything else.  This is reflected in all aspects of what we do, from scheduling, to choosing the therapist with the best fit. We value communication with parents, as you are imperative to the treatment process.
