Our Process

Step 2 - The Information Analysis
- When you arrive at our office for your child’s evaluation, we will get pertinent information from you that will help your therapist develop a clear understanding of the challenges your child may be facing and of the vision you have for him/her. Your therapist will measure his/her present skills.

Step 3 - The Skills-Building Process
- If the evaluation results indicate your child will benefit from speech therapy and/or occupational therapy, your therapist then designs a treatment program to develop his/her targeted skills. Getting to know your child as an individual is an important part of our process.

Step 4 - The Knowledge Builder
- Ongoing parent education is available. Home activities may also be provided by your therapist as your child progresses so you may participate in the skills-building process.

Step 5 - The Support System
- Auxiliary programs that address the needs of your family as a whole are available on a regular basis. The dates and times for these meetings are posted in our newsletter and in the office at the front desk.
- The Respite Solution (parent's night out) is an opportunity for parents to take some time to relax and re-charge while your child is having fun in the familiar surroundings of the ACG office under the supervision of ACG staff members!
